I got knocked off my bike over a week ago. My laptop was in my bag and it didn't hit the ground.

My laptop was working fine since. However, I haven't put a disc in the drive since. It won't play any dvd disc (thats dvds and games) however it will play cds.

What do I do?

Take it into Dell or Mac or Best fucking Buy wherever you got it dumbass, as long as there is warranty.

Most warranties don't cover accidental damages from the user, only things that broke earlier than they should have.  If there is no cosmetic damage one might be able to get away with that, but if there is, forget about it.

Your best bet would be to reinstall the drivers for you optical drive.  (Tell me the Operating system and I should be able to tell you how to do that, if you don't know how to already.)

If reinstalling the drivers does not work you can replace the optical drive, but can be tricky for people who haven't opened a laptop before.
