I'm developing like this FEAR of eating. I'm hungry, but I don't want to eat. I'm scared to eat. If I do eat, I will feel miserable, even if it's not that bad for me. And I've been feeling good about skipping meals. I'm smart enough not to starve myself completely and I do not want to purge. I'm just becoming wayyy too obsessed with all of this now, it's not a good sign. I'm too obsessed with my weight and the way that I look and I have low self esteem. It's easy for you to say I'm just being a pussy and I need to grow up and that my problems are insignificant, which is true, but, it's still hard to overcome these feelings.

Nothing is wrong with eating. You NEED to eat in order to survive. Sure we might not want to eat every now and then, but the point still stands that eventually if we let ourselves go and don't eat, we're going to hit malnutrition and eventually die. Would you rather die, or eat food every day? No one is saying eat 5000 calories a day, heck, if need be only eat at least 1500 calories a day. Skipping a few meals is okay every now and then, but in the long run it's better for your health to eat at least 3 balanced, nutritious meals on a daily basis. As a past calorie counter, I understand how hard it is not to be obsessed over your weight. Sometimes we just need to say screw it, and realize that living is soo much better than walking around in misery. Not eating truly does effect your health on a daily basis.

Also, I agree with this. If you're extremely worried about gaining weight and everything, there is definitely nothing wrong with trying to exercise in order to keep your weight at a healthy size. Sure it might take effort, but it's better than constantly fretting over weight gain. Just try doing cardio three/four times a week, along with another exercise of your choice. Whether it be yoga, core exercises, working out, etc. Just do something that burns calories. You'll need more caloric intake, sure, but in the end it's worth it. Just try eating a balanced diet along side working out and being active.
