Why do so many people act like they are bi-polar?

Seriously, majority of the people on here that say they are, really aren't. Bi-polar isn't rapid mood changes, that is called being a teen and your hormones going crazy. Trust me, you don't want to be bi-polar. It really does suck, going from extreme lows, to extreme highs isn't exactly how I want to live my life. However, this is the hand I was dealt, so I have to deal with it. I just hate how people think they are "cool" by saying they have this disorder.

I've had plenty of people IRL who pretend to have bi-polar for attention purposes. It's easy to manipulate actions of a disorder for attention...it sucks, but it's not going to stop.
