I don't know what the deal is. Recently I've noticed I've been tuning my girlfriend of two years out. I've been spending more time with my friends than her and just tend to get irritated when I'm around her. She is completely inamoured with me and I can't in good consience just break it off... I don't know what to do anymore

Well you have to decide, wether you think this is because your relationship is in a rut, or wether you feel as if the relationship is over.

If you feel it is the latter then you should break it off. It will be hard, but in the long run it's better for both you and the gf.

I am sorta in the same position, but I am in love with her. Just bored.

You seem like you just really dont wanna do it anymore. You need to be a man and tell her that you don't want to be with her. Or give her ways to fix it if you want.

Just as an off-side piece of advice, if you are bored, spice it up now, as she might be getting bored too. Keep the romance and fun alive!

Do you see yourself being away from her? You've been together for a long time, maybe you just need to spice things up a bit? Try something new. Be (mostly) honest with her, tell her you want to do something to get things kicking again like when you first got together. Don't just cut all ties off with the poor girl out of the blue without at least warning her, or trying to fix it first.

I was in something to that effect.. well not really, but i had to break up with my bf who i'd been with for 2 yrs when he really needed me, but i couldn't do it.. it took me months to do it.. it's going to hurt the other person no matter what.. it'll probably hurt you too, it crushed me.. but he wouldn't have been able to move on if i hadn't ended it completely.. it'll take time, but if you truly don't want the relationship anymore you have to do it..

Ty. It's just hard ya know. I am working 40 hours a week and she is in school. We are at two different parts of our lives. I don't mind being here and watching us go further. Its just that some times I feel as if things might be better....Idk Im sorry. Im blabbing. I cant even think of what to say.

I am just tired. Busy. Exhausted. And stressed. But I have to look like I am calm, cool, and collected. All I want to do is make these next few months just pass by me. But i forget I am holding someones feelings in my hands as I sorta fall into my routinely day to day slump. Work, sleep, eat, dog, Work, eat, sleep, dog. Work eat sleep dog then her. and then back to the same old stuff.

Maybe i'll take her to outback this weekend. that sounds fun.

Back in April, BF and I started fighting a lot, he started pushing me away blah blah blah. Ok, so we finally 'broke up' (for half an hour) after a month of this crap. What did we learn from this? It would have been easier for him to tell me he was unhappy when he started feeling that way rather than waiting for everything to get so bad. We fixed it, and within a month, our relationship was better than ever. It was just a few small changes from both of us to bring the spark back, and now we've been together over 2 years.
