This girl's a sophomore, and she continued her relationship with her high school boyfriend until now. It was rocky, and she didn't like the long distance very much. She finally broke it off two weekends ago. I really like her, and I have some reason to believe that she likes me. I want to ask her out to a movie this weekend. Is it too soon?

Exactely...with a relationship ending like that she would have probably a 90% of a chance of her saying yes.  Even though she may have ended it...there is a reason it lasted 2 years.  

If she doesnt want to go out then good for her...she is mature about it.  But if you do end up going out dont be hurt about what the results may be.
