Heyheyhey :) Firstly, the one thing that stuck out to me was the fact that you don't want to eat because you don't want to put on weight. The thing is, just because you consume food, you're not going to add weight to yourself. depending on your activity level, a certain amount of calories are healthy to consume each day, and they will keep you at a steady, healthy weight. Generally this number is around 2000 calories for most people, but it can span from 1500 calories to a general 2500/3000 calories. Think about this: Michael Phelps eats 12000 calories a day based on his activity level, yet he never puts on a pound (and if he does; he burns it off quickly.) So don't be afraid to eat, because chances are you'll stay at your current weight. Since you don't eat that much anymore, it's not a bad thing by any means. Sometimes we go through periods where we tend to binge and eat too much, and on the flip side we go through periods where we're not really that hungry at all. Nothing bad about that, just know that you need to try and keep up a healthy weight by eating a healthy diet, rather than when you do eat eating foods which aren't by any means good for you. Based on a BMI calculator: Your weight is at a healthy, normal level. :) Know that that doesn't interpret muscle weight and water weight, but it's still semi-accurate. So you're not overweight in a sense. :) As for the media as a whole, they generally portray their characters as somewhat of a 'perfection' with some misguided inaccuracies. Most companies and countries do this to attract the everyday viewer, not just Asian media. "Skinny" supposedly pulls people into watching shows more. Which is a bunch of bs, in my opinion. :P Nah, any of this isn't bad at all.

First: OP, I'm not encouraging you to starve yourself, I'm just clarifying this statement. You don't always put the weight back on, it all depends on the eating habits which you pick up once you start the eating process once more. There have been plenty of times where people gain weight, sure, but some have even continued to lose weight when they start to eat more especially when they eat healthily and start to work out. So a vague statement like that isn't always true. Is it possible? sure, but things like "slow and steady win the race" definitely take effect when it comes to things like this.
