So, if you haven't seen this shitty video here it is...

She was recently interviewed, here's the link:
http://omg.yahoo.com/news/miley-cyrus-i-ve-never-heard-a-jay-z-song/30823

It says...

"I've never heard a Jay-Z song," the singer, 16, said in an interview before her Halloween concert -- in which she was dressed as Pocahontas -- in Louisville, Kentucky this past Saturday. "I don't listen to pop music."

[First of all, since when is Jay-Z pop? Secondly, WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK?"]

She continues with...

"I don't know, I didn't write the song, so I have no idea," she said of the tune, which was written by a songwriting team of Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly and Jessica Cornish. "Honestly, I picked that song because I needed something to go with my clothing line. I didn't write it and ... I didn't expect it to be popular, originally. It was just something that I wanted to do, and I needed some songs and it turned out for the best."

Fuck you Miley Cyrus... You've taken over the world and you're a god damn poser.

It's not like she actually wrote the song.  All these pop stars (Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears) just have songwriters.

OBVIOUSLY, but jesus... to openly admit that she had NO idea what the song meant or where it's inspiration came from, and that she just did it for the business aspect of it is what bothers me.

Pop is a business dominated subgenre.  If you want new bands who still do it for the art, look in the underground and indy scenes.  They'll find you.

You really have no idea.  The wholesome image Disney branded on her was never reflective of her true personality.

Well, yeah, I mean I understand that. It's still just that she was so open and cavalier about how it was just business, not "Oh I loved the song, I loved the lyrics, I was so inspired by it..." She didn't even bullshit some of that. How did no one think to be like, "Hey Miley if anyone asks, "such and such" is your favorite Jay-Z song."
