Hey, if you're interested, go for it. But it won't come easy. You'll have to work hard to play anything respectable. Damn, I play the alto saxophone for years, and I'm not giving up because it's hard and my teacher gives me a hard time. Once you start, you have to work until the end, for me anyway. Oh, and if you play ONE instrument, the other ones come easy. Yeah, I can play a few simple tunes on the piano, thanks to my sax.

My parents had me take lessons when I was young. But I gave up a few years after because I was lazy and had no appreciation for music at the time. Now I can only play basic pieces, I really wish I kept it on :(
I'll definitely get lessons in the future again though.

Yeah, I play. Since it was my first instrument, it took me a while to get to the point that I felt I was good enough. But suddenly, it was like I hit the point that I was good enough to play songs I'm interested in, and that made all the difference. I love it, now.

I took private lessons for 5 years and then quit. I can still play some stuff though. For some reason, I don't have any problems playing tangos
