^^ the title pretty much says it all.

I need a FL cred, so I tried for Italian but I guess that doesnt meet the Gen Ed req?

So should I even bother still taking it?

I have a packed sched. as it is, but if it comes in handy down the road, I don't want to regret not taking it or anything.

Opinions?

you shouldn't take it if you wan to get your general ed requirements out of the way. that and a class you think might not be much to handle could always turn out differently and add to your schedule

waiting to take it seems better :)

I want to get my Gen Ed. requirements done for a degree in Social Sciences.

To do this, I need at least 6 credits of Foreign Languages.

Should I switch my class, drop it, or take it anyway?

I guess I could go for French, Spanish, or possibly a German class.
But it all depends on the times and things.

I have no interest in foreign languages, so I wouldn't know which to pick, or which would be more conducive to my generals.

I think any of those would be beneficial to a social science degree. you have any experience with those 3?

I took French for a short period of time in high school.
But I dropped it, due to the class being too easy.
Looking back, I shouldn't have dropped an easy grade, but alas.

Haha.

Why in the hell would the Italian not count as a FL class?

Though I can kinda sympathize because I was pretty much told that if it wasn't Spanish, then it wasn't going to count, but that was because at the time I had an EDU minor to go with a History major.
