London is a metropolitan circus - for real scenery and life-long experiences one needs to travel to Yorkshire or Birmingham. Better yet try crossing over to Scotland. The British royal family are always in Scotland - they prefer it over London which clearly sends an awkward message to the average Londoner...
London is basically New York's sister/brother - if you have the chance try visiting the more authentic English plains and even visiting Scotland.
