I like my roommate, but I want to move to a different dorm here at college because everyone there is much more community-like and I am now friends with like 80% of them, and almost no one here at my other dorm (more preppy, the desired one is more music/gamey). Problem is, I think my roommate may be a little ticked/disappointed in my desire. He sort of said, without trying to sound too whiney, that he didn't want me to move there. But...I'm having a much better college experience over there, and it's also next to all of the music buildings where I have to walk several minutes to and from several times a day anyway.
What do you guys think--is it a douche move to change dorms? If I do, what should I tell my roommate to do, because he doesn't want to room here alone by himself.
