It was pretty much Jaws. When I say this, I mean it had the exact same story line of Jaws, only with different characters, set at an earlier time. I think it was made post-2000, but was set pre-1900's.

I saw it a while ago and thought it was a much better version of Jaws, but I can't remember the name of it.

If anybody knows, please help.

No, I've seen that one, and that had 3 sharks. This was exactly like Jaws, but more realistic.

The shark was smaller, and it was set much earlier. 1900's or so, not 1975, when the original Jaws was made.

It wasn't a greatly popular movie, but it was heaps better than Jaws.
