I was all excited about getting a hedgehog after seeing those pictures.

But it turns out that the university I'm going to doesn't allow any animals other than fish.

Oh well. Maybe I'll sneak him in in a couple of years.
My dad had ferrets when he was in college.

RAs do.

At my college, they didn't enter the rooms in case of emergency or by appointment, so we always knew when they were coming- which is plenty of time to hide anything you need to hide.

I'd do that, too... but some schools will confiscate the animal and give you a hefty fine. Personally, I wouldn't take the risk, especially since hedgehogs can cost quite a bit of money to start with.

OP: how long do you have to live in the dorms?
