I agree that it's a bit obscure of those types of songs to be mixed into the other genres like that...but in all actuality, maybe it'll gain some more listeners of it. A "reaching out" so to speak. Not that the genres of metal aren't well appreciated already, but it never hurts to expand. Although I know a lot of people who think my music is "terrible" but only because they give no chance to it. Any genre of music will have it's "mainstream moment"; doesn't mean that anyone is "selling out" so to speak.

i honestly don't believe in selling out. i mean how are you ever going to go anywhere in your band. i think it only happens is when an already established band trys making a comeback when no comeback was necessary Cough*metallica*cough

well i mean c'mon! they had all the radio air time, the record sales,a household name and they had to go ahead a make a new album(which wasnt mind blowing) and approve a guitar hero game? lol aerosmith is one thing but metallica? doesnt compare

well Rockband has stuff like Dream Theater. Although i will give it to Jack Black and Brutal Legend. that has to be the most metal game ever..id honestly rather have the soundtrack then the game ha!
