So I am a really quiet person who doesn't talk much. I just now started getting more comfortable and began to get more open. Usually a girl at the table would insult me and I wouldn't say anything. But now I just let it go and insult her back. Then all of a sudden my friend says "You've gotten meaner this year ."

How is it mean? The girl insulted me first, I just didn't stay quiet this time like everyone's used to. Then my friend ignored me and I asked her again if she can explain it and she's like " OMG just be quiet, I missed when you didn't talk as much cause when you do you're annoying"

That really hurt my feelings that she would say that to me. Not only did I give her the cold shoulder for the rest of the day, but I don't think I will be able to laugh with her again like we used to
