When I was younger, I thought Jimi Hendrix was a member of The Who, because whenever i heard Hendrix, i always heard the people talking about The Who immediately afterwords.

I also somehow had the idea that Rod Stewart was a member of the Rolling Stones...

I also once believed the lead singer of Korn got shot and killed. My friend told me that, and I believed it after he kept saying it was true.

Are there any things about an artist you thought were true, but weren't? (As in ,maybe you thought so and so was in this band, but turns out he/she wasn't)
