No it is not.
It depends on what boss you are doing foo, and how much time you have to sit there and dps.
On kologarn (when I played) I would ALWAYS out DPS the rogue, while on other fights like iron council he would beat me.

You guys are wrong, i'm not talking about how people play them. I'm stating a fact, not opinion, that rogues have the potential to be the highest DPS in the game and at the highest tier Rogues will ALWAYS outdps others if played properly. Not to mention that Rogues are the only class with the ability to top 9k dps.

Also depends on play style. if you like to hit and run do a rogue or warlock. Rogues have a LOT of versatility in their toolbelt to keep them alive and so do locks. Do you like melee or ranged? Casting? Do you want to be able to absorb damage? It all really depends I suggest trying them out.

To be honest man, roll a healer. In PVP healers are hilarious to play, I have zero fear running into the fray as my resto druid, it's hilarious to stand there and watch people try and kill you even without you stance dancing.

Rogues got nerfed in that patch, bastards. Ah well, at any rate they were the best before that patch(should have checked to make sure things hadn't changed), not that history matters, and my main point was that it's a great class and they still outdps druids.
Also, as to the main point of the topic, rogues are still OP in PVP so they're a great choice there anyway.
