I REALLY want to play that game, I just remembered how compelling and awesome the story and gameplay was, I got really connected and really it was just an amazing experience. For a while I would have said Final Fantasy 7 was my favorite RPG but I know the Witcher is several times better even. GO GET IT!

I have it... I was mixed on it. The story was awesome, yes... but the awful voice acting was just killing it for me, and the combat was so-so (even in FIVE other languages the voice acting was still bad O_o).
I do remember absolutely loving the design and plot though.
Maybe I'll give it another try with the voices off.

I have the enhanced version. I still think the voice acting was... well, perhaps atrocious is too strong a word, but it really clashed with the otherwise extremely well done world and audio. In many places it just either lacked emotion or felt really forced. Even in other language settings, it felt the same way.
