alright does anyone have gay parents and does it really mess up your life as much as they say not having the traditional mom and dad family? i assume not. i am in a relationship with a girl (i am a girl) and we plan on having a family someday if it works out and we stay together that long so I'm curious...

My aunt is a lesbian who lives with her partner and biological children (from a previous relationship).
I can tell you straight up, those kids will grow up better than the average American child. If anything goes wrong, it has nothing to do with the fact that their mom is gay.

I would think that a child in a household with gay parents would learn to be a lot more tolerant and open minded than a child that grew up in a tradional household. So..I don't see that it would be bad.

My parents are gay...both actually one is a lesbian and the other is gay. They live with thier SO and they are still married...aint that nice. I don't think there is any problems with it, and some people are going to look down upon it but who cares...you are who you are..be proud!
