Have you actually made an effort to build a relationship? If you're just expecting it to fall into your lap, especially over looks alone, you're going to be largely either ignored, or you'll find creepy guys who only care about looks.
In any case, I would be counting your blessings to be perfectly honest, high school romance for the vast majority really does suck.
