As a guy, I'm just wondering if there are a lot of girls out there who get excited when a guy they like texts them... then don't respond. From guy's point of view, this makes absolutely no sense and seems stupid. But from a girl's perspective, maybe since they get casually approached so many times, they have been conditioned to be a little more wary of the fickle nature of guys. So they wait to see if the guy will persist.
