well my ex an i have been talking again, for about 3 months, he lives far away like 1000 miles so we havn't seen each other yet. But he told me he is coming to visit me soon, and i am very excited for that.

we talk a lot but lately he has been ignoring my texts a little, which is fine he is probably busy. then i got talking to his brother and they are like best friends so i asked him if my ex wanted to get back with me. And he said maybe, but my ex thinks i can be a little clingy.

So after a few hours of not getting a text from my ex i sent him one saying i will give him space because i think it might be bothering him with texting so much. And i told him it would be best for both of us bc i could study easier and he could have space you know?

Well i havn't heard from him since, and i asked him if everything was ok but i got no reply. And i dont want to seem clingy by wondering what i did wrong lol

soooo i have no idea what to do, i havnt heard from him since noon yesterday which is strange for him. But im not too worried about it, bc i trust him. but idk how i should go about this lol

idk what boys think clingy is and i dont know how to make things better without being clingy? so advice would be great :)

stop talking about deliberate actions like texting him less or having more time to study etc, it sounds clingy and too thought-filled

just text him less. and don't talk about it.

but having said that, don't fake it and you don't hold back too much if you really feel clingy because that's not healthy anyway and it's bound to come out in the relationship

i spy on you too

You just described a VERY clingy girlfriend. Guys like a chase. Leave him alone and he'll be running back into your arms in no time.
