Go to the xbox 360 dashboard. Go to ''network settings'', go to ''configure'', and then click on ''networks'', and then find the name of your network, click on it and then test your xbox live connection. It should work after that. If not, then powercycle your connection by unplugging your router and modem for a minute, and then do what I told you to do before.
You might also not be wanted to download anything while you are connected to Xbox Live, it really makes it lag.
Also do you have the Xbox wireless adapter? It costs $100, and that's what you need to connect to Xbox Live. If you don't, then you have to plug your modem plug into your Xbox 360.
