1. For the love of god it doesn't take you that much effort to type 'to' instead of 2 every single time. It's like you're trying to make me angry at you =/
Try to be more coherent in general really, I had a very hard time understand your post.

2. I think what you're saying (because it's very unclear) is that you use a cellular-based connection? If your modem has a LAN port on it that you can use, just connect that to the back of the 360 (which I assume has an ethernet port).

If it's USB only (eww), then you'll have to use the PC to bridge the connection from the modem and the PC's own ethernet port (which would be connected to the 360).

I absolutely despised Vista, but there should be an option in the network connections for bridging.

Shut up, now.  It works with any high speed internet provider.  It could be cable, any form of DSL, any form of Fiber, any T1 or higher.  I'm pretty sure ISDN connections might even work, usually very low latency without much speed.  Satellite might be where the problem is, high speed but very high latency.

Just to try and get what is trying to be done right.  You have a modem that connects to a wireless router.  On your computer you have a wireless adapter.  You would like to use the wireless connection from your computer to be shared with your Xbox.  Correct?

Is it actual dial-up or is it a PPPoE (have to put in log-in info) connection for DSL?

If I am correct, what operating system do you have?

I've done it in Vista before, similar to the way now in Win7.  Easier than XP.

When he said wireless, I think he meant that the modem uses a cellular network. I could be wrong, but cell providers have an annoying habit of calling their networks "wireless" - annoying because that's how most people tend to refer to wifi as well, and other technologies are also often referred to as "wireless" (ie the radio antennae on my roof that gives me 3Mb/s internet but it connects to independent towers in the area, not cellular networks).

Said modem is connected to his PC by USB I think, but the PC treats it like a dial-up connection. You'll have to ask him for more details than that.

As long as the Ethernet port is open it should be the same procedure to bridge the connections.

Cricket is definitely a cell phone provider, probably is one of those connections. When I first read it I didn't notice that.

Word of warning with those.  Even the "unlimited" plans actually have limits, and very high overage fees.  At least with Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular, and AT&T.  Using Xbox Live is usually at least 100KB/s during a match.  Would go through the average 5GB limit very fast.
