Happened a few blocks away from where my mom works.

Bet my dad was glad they put him on desk duty in the police station for a few months today instead of being out there for all that shit.

Local news is saying the doctor converted to Islam not too long ago, and that about 6 months ago the authorities noticed he posted some stuff online about suicide bombings.  They also mentioned that he was getting ready to be delpoyed.

I guess the way I feel now is how all the people a little older than me felt back in 1991 when that nutter drove into the Luby's and shot it up.

Was pretty cool how the State Troopers and local cops and the local hospitals all rushed in to offer all the help they could between securing gates and moving victims to all the hospitals (since the one on post isn't in the position to handle a sudden shock of 30+ wounded people).  The FBI eventually showed up to work on the why.

I think our Congressional rep was the first to speak, then our senator getting ready to run for governor, then the governor, then our second senator and finally Obama.

Just wish that someone would have explained to Obama before he went on the difference between a post and a base instead of him sounding like a total knob who has never interacted with the military before.

Was hilarious watching msnbc and those retards making it obvious that they had no clue about the area that we live in or anything about the Army.

Was a good hour or so after the doctor got shot before they charged the building and arrested the other two.  The other two were eventually released, so it isn't really clear what role they have in the whole situation.

Local news is saying the city cops are at the doctor's apartment and waiting for the Ft. Hood bomb squad to check it out...
