Very quick and simple suggestion but I study Psychology and I would love to see a psychology forum on here.. and while we're on the topic it might be nice to see other sub forums for other school subjects so people can discuss subject specific things.

That would go under the health and hygiene I would think.

I'm taking a psychology class in college and I also took it in high school. I agree...it's fascinating and I'd totally support having a forum.

I would think that would fall under health and hygene, depression and mental disorders, or school and homework help...

Psychology is such a broad subject (much broader than most people think)... for example I have just spent the last 7 weeks studying the psychology of happiness, I am soon going to be studying clinical, health and biopsychology.

Psychology deserves its own forum, and for anyone who is with me, i've sent an application already.

I definitely like this idea.

Philosophy would be a good sub-forum, too.

I understand that and i am a psych major also, but I dont think that there is really anything that would go in it that would not fit in another subject.  Philosophy or science forums would probably also work.  I just feel there are a lot of forums and ones like that would just be a target for mis posts and lack of use.... *shrug*

Do I think that it'd be an active forum? No.

science and business forum.

we have too many forums already. i would be annoyed to have that many more narrow-focus forums added

A psychology forum would be interesting.  Sometimes I wonder if it'd be a better idea to take the philosophy part out of the religion and philosophy forum (turning it into just the religion forum) and add philosophy to the proposed psychology forum, making it the psychology and philosophy forum.  I would imagine most of what would be discussed in the psychology forum would pertain to how people think, which naturally goes with philosophy to a good extent - why people think what they think.
