Hello.

I'm trying to lose weight by exercising and eating heathly.

But whenever i try to exercise, i give up in like the first 5mins, i have no motivation.

whenever i exercise i think to myself, this is just the first day, 89 days to go, just exercise for 30mins, it's only been 4mins. FML

can someone help me how to get motivated?

I've tried to lose weight for a long time now, and i get no motivation.

Also when i go on the scale, and i gain like 1 or 2kgs, i get annoyed and have no motivation.

Just do it, don't think about the time, don't think about how many more days. Get an ipod with your favorite music and go work out.

Get in a car with someone... get them to drop you off 10km away from your home...

Set small goals for yourself. Write them out and stick them in a place you can see them. Then when you've accomplished them, set some which are a little higher. It's all about taking small steps.

~ Don't do too much all at once, take it step by step.

~ Do a sport that you actually enjoy doing, for example, If you really don't enjoy going to the gym and working out then do something else instead.

~ exercise with other people.

~consider what you can change about your daily routine to make you healthier, e.g. walking/cycling to school or work.

~Set achievable goals, don't expect too much from yourself, e.g to be able to run 3 miles after 1 week of gentle jogging.

~Look at your stomach/thighs/whatever feature you don't like about yourself every time you're about to give up

~ I find doing particular sports is a lot more useful then simply working out.

Good luck :)
