Now when i text it brings up other words to complete my current word im texting.   This is irrartating, and i was wondering how to get ride of this feature

The 5.0 update?

Go to Options, Language and Text Input and change the input style from auto-correction to word completion.
Orrrr

go to your SMS + MMS folder and press blackberry button and go to option, then go to spell check and uncheck auto correction
