because we all have the capacity to come up with general relativity.
We do.
i'm sure we do, i'm sure you've got a link to a study that shows all humans have the same intellectual capacity.
They can't study this, for it is all in our heads. We can't study a persons motivation.

motivation has nothing to do with mental capacity.
there are some people who understand complex subjects more than others.

Motivation has a lot to do with learning. Have you ever taken a Psychology class? At one point in time Albert Einstein knew nothing about Physics. He has to learn what everyone else discovered before he could make discoveries of his own. Sure, some point can grasp things more easily than others, but that doesn't mean that they can't learn it.

i don't think you understood what i said.
even if you do have motivation, yeah, you can get farther with your learning experiences, but there are walls.
you can compare a genius with any other person who had the same education, but they're able to grasp much further into the advanced ideas in any subject.
motivation might bring out more of your potential, but some people will always have more of a mental capacity than others.

I'm sure one could condition their mental capacity, if they really wanted to.

take a girl or guy from any mtv reality show and get him/her to understand the mechanics of gravity and it's involvement with everything at the atomic level and we'll meet back up here.

It would take a lot of conditioning, but it could happen. The brain is an amazing tool, and is capable of great feats.

you're being too much of an idealist on this subject, but i'll let you have your fun.
besides, we're dead in 40 years from a robotcalypse.

Yes, I know I'm talking about theoretically. I don't actually believe everyone can become intelligence, this is only because as I have said, people don't have the motivation to.

No way. Otherwise we'd all be intrigued like them, and be great.
People don't imply themselves as much as they did. I know Einstein and Newton were solitary people that use to sit in rooms by themselves for days to figure out problems. Hardy anyone know a days have that kind of discipline and motivation to do such.
Exactly, so we're obviously not the same.

Do you think that everyone has the capability to be as intelligent as Albert Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Sir Isaac Newton or any other great person? Why or why not?
Yes. They have the "potential", but potential diminishes as one gets older. The characteristics of geniuses usually revolve around an ability to exhibit increased concentration and unwavering determination. One becomes a genius @ something when at about 10,000 hours of focused work...the people that reach this mark "early" are prodigies..and the reason why they are able to do so is because of their ability to maintain focus.

Einstein also had an amazingly different brain. Brain morphology has been shown to have a genetic link. Want me to give studies in support of this?
I don't see any information on Newton's brain though.
Nothing suggests these people gave in more effort than 99.9% of the world's population though.

Your brain changes throughout your life. Einstein's parietal lobes were different because he used them more than an average human does.
Nothing suggest? You have got to be kidding me.
