I'm working on a list of things I need for my Fender guitar [It's my first electric guitar, so I chose a simple one.]

So I want to buy some new things for my guitar to make my experience fun.

I have an okay amp, and a whammy bar.

So far on my list I have:

-Distortion pedal

Hi I would suggest getting yourself a wall hanger to show of your first guitar I have just bought a couple of new ones from wiamusic.com they are great and it is  the perfect way to display your guitar and is very easy to take it down to play it, they even work on the ceiling, you will be the envy of all your friends! happy playing

Well for a Distortion pedal I'd recommend either a Keely DS-1 or a Vox Satchurator. Also I'd recommend a Wah pedal (name a Jim Dunlop Crybaby), a Digitech Whammy pedal, a delay pedal of some sort and a chorus pedal.
