I have no IT experience, but I am very keen on getting into it.

Anyone have any tips for finding a decent job in the IT business with no experience?

Probably get your Network+ and/or A+ certification.  With those the employer can guarantee you know the basics.

These days, especially with the job market, anyone in the IT market would need to have some sort of skillset certified by an accredited institution.  My suggestion to you is to get certified at some community college if you want this to be your career.  Systems and network admins are growing in demand, so this could be a rather rewarding field for you in the future.

It's not really something you can get on-the-job training for.

I don't know, I think I am 70/40 on this issue.  I always give it my 110%.
