They're a little out of my range price-wise, and insurance wise.

Save up the extra money.  Originally one of my neighbors bought one for his wife.  He bought it without test driving it.  Drove it once and told her she could have the Porsche.  Wonderful cars.   The only car BMW has made better is the E30 M3.

I know this. :P

I still wouldn't ride a bike. EVAR

Your missing out, it's the best adrenaline rush you'll ever experience in your life. Not only are you faster then most supercar's, your exposed to the elements, you feel the raw speed without being trapped behind a glass window. It's an unexplainable rush because things will feel 10x faster then they ever will in a car.

You made me this way. I can't control it. I don't want to...

Just take one of the Illinois Motorcycle Rider Program classes.  You can experience it safely.  I passed the course, now I just need money to own one someday.

5-series. only cuz the one in the pic is a 540.
that 7-series looks like trash, the GTO is only a 5.7 and probably pummeled, S80 is a boring car, s60r is sweet...G8 too except it's autotragic, hate all MBZ, Xj's are clean, S-types look like whales IMO, trailblazers is an SUV.

my top 3 are G8, 540, s60r. good mix of performance, luxury, and practicality.

The LS2 is nice and all but for many thousands less you can start out with 50 less HP.. and easily regain it with very little money. Idunno.

It's a toss-up. I like the single exhaust with the LS1's as well..though it is dual pipes all the way back, it's just coming out one side. I like that more. Much more understated IMO

Thank you for biased poorly looked into response.

He didn't even specifiy which model of 5 series, or 7 series and beyond that, a 7 series doesn't look much different than a 5 series, tad bigger wheelbase.

He has nothing against automatics,  you counted out Mercedes Benz just because you don't like them, despite the fact that they are still some of the best built cars in the world.

And that Trailblazer you snubbed for being an SUV, rocks a Corvette motor thats good for getting that heavy ass to 60 in less than 6 seconds.

as i said, it's all preference. i LIKE the dual exhausts of the 6.0s...and even the fake hood scoops. i think it makes it look less BORING - like a goat SHOULD! if you're big into the modding scene, yeah there's more for the LS1. but if you're a low-income student such as myself, i'll take my stock hp and walk with it thanks very much

LS1 is also less for insurance , less initial cost to purchase , it's a win-win.

If you're a low-income student then you shouldn't be looking at cars like that.. you should have an econobox and be worried about your schooling. Just my two cents.

yeah....you'd think so. but instead i'm buying an e46 M3 next spring. great financial decision.

and up front can't be that much difference between the two...not considering the cost of the car.

i'm not sure i understand that. the cars you're test driving are all across the board in terms of 'initial cost'
