Hi,
I'm having a problem with the internet connection on a few of my programs.

For some reason, iTunes, Windows Live Messenger, Any AV program, OpenOffice.org, Foxit Reader and Frostwire can't connect to the internet.

However, AIM, and all of my web browsers can connect to the internet. Also, when I try uploading things to photobucket, it says there was a network error.

It gives a similar message for all of these programs, yet I am sure I'm connected to the internet.

I thought it might be a firewall problem, so I disabled that. Still no luck. Scanned my computer. No virus.

I'm using the Windows 7 Beta by the way. It's worked perfectly fine before

What now?

Turn off your firewalls. If you're running Norton or McAffe they both have firewalls.

Software firewalls are virtually uselsss, seeing as every virus you get just turns them off anyway...

shut down your antivirus programs firewalls, as well an windows firewall and you should be fine.

Did that. There is no AVG firewall. and the only other firewall I have is Windows Firewall. I turned that off. Still no luck. And this just happened with no apparent reason.
