A little past midnight, I pull up to the Tesoro gas station between my town and the town where my job is located. Its the only stop between an otherwise 45 minute drive one way between towns. This beaner shows up behind me as I'm filling up the Tempo on premium (regular alone is three bucks now). Jeep Cherokee Classic with spinnerz. He turns up his (as far as I can tell) stock stereo with some beaner-esque rap or some shit. I hope in the old Tempo and turn on Frank Sinatra's timeless classic; All the Way. Beaner does not approve, and to add insult to injury the Tempo's four stock speakers are louder then his Jeep. I've already realized I am in deep shit when I see beaner's five friends hop out of the Jeep after Beaner #1 yells something at them. They stare at me and they start walking over, I hop in the Tempo and crank up Old Blue Eyes even louder. Now, they're pissed. Then I offer them some canned Bush Beans and they say; "Thanks Holmes." And we all live happily ever after.
why are you putting in premium fuel in your tempo? you wasting money.l. I used to put in 89, now I put in 87. In a car like yours or mine (aka old, economy 4 bangers) not only does the car not care what gas it has, it will actually run better on lower octane ratings. research it.
on leaded fueled cars this is Not the case.

Luckily neither of our cars desire leaded fuel, then. In fact, does anyone's car here take leaded fuel? Maybe Taco's buick... I'm pretty sure most of you are too new to even remember him though.

my old Volvo Ran on Leaded, ran like crap on Regular it needed Premium unleaded(as they dont sell leaded here anymore due to the pollution).

They haven't sold leaded here since before I was born, except in specialty stations. To give an idea of the rarity, I've never seen a station that sells leaded.

they stopped here in about 2001, but after 1987 all cars sold had to be made for unleaded

I bought a Cherry Bomb Turbo muffler today, hopefully it'll sound less like a mail truck...or just a really loud mail truck.
