Ok so this year Im gonna be a sophmore and well I was wonderin how do I make new friends?? I guess the problem is that Im really quiet and well I only talk to the people I already know and well I wanna have more people to hang out with and have fun! I have a wonderful bf bt its kinda sad wen I c him havin fun with his friends and I dont really have that many of them just a few..... How can I change that?? Help Please!!

I know what it's like to be on the shier side but first thing, your quote about not being a bitch and not liking you shows something about you. You may be presenting yourself with an "I don't care" attitude and to make friends, you have to be approachable and respectful. Just be nice and talk to people first about things you have in common, like class or something.

Shyness is tough, you have to make a conscious effort to get over it. Just make sure you do because shyness can come across as arrogant and unapproachable, so you want to try to be nice. Taking down that quote and "boycrazy" might be a start. Just make an effort to smile, say hi, find common ground even if it's super simple, and if someone says something or engages in small talk with you, say something back that they can expand on rather than a yes or no answer.
