i had been voulnteering at my school by serving lunch at summer school. and i had notice this really cute guy and i had decided to go for it. and i started to give him suttle hints and then i just gave him my number. and recently i went to sit at his lunch table and he asked me if i had a boyfriend and i said no, then i asked him if he had a girlfriend, and he said "kinda sorta". I really want to know what that means, and where does this leave me???  lol
has this happen to any of you guys??

To me that would be that he kind of does have a thing going with a girl but maybe they aren't boyfriend/girlfriend just yet. Perhaps they are going on a few causal dates here and there and he is seeing what might happen next.

Maybe the next time you sit down with him, you could ask about it. Say something along the lines of "So, how are things going with that girl" and see what is going on between those two. Really, he is the only person who can tell you exactly what he meant by that comment.  

Give it time and get to know him for now. If in the end he becomes her boyfriend, remember there are plenty of fish in the sea!

He could have just been making conversation. Asking you about yourself and things. I wouldn't jump to conclusions that he is sending mixed signals but I don't think he is. I think he was just trying to get to know you a little better and not making a move on you.

i would def. talk to him as just friends, expect for the fact that summer school is only 2 wks long and there is only one wk. left. honestly i think i should just let it go, and see where it takes me...is that something i should do??
