my 360 is to arrive on Wednesday. I've bought a few games for when it comes,

Gears of War 1 & 2
Project Gotham Racing 3
Halo 3
BioShock

looking for someone to play co-op with on gears. obviously no sooner than Wednesday.

I've been playing for about an 1 1/2 hours. and just been attacked by some "wrenchers" or at least that's what it sounds like the AI are calling it. not been able to get passed them yet, but still trying.

i'm going to add you guys to my friends list now.

i also have the gears of war 2, but not going to play that till i complete the first one.

I've been playing gears of war toady, wow it's hard! well i am playing it on the hardcore settings. there is another harder setting you unlock once you complete the game but i can't imagine completing the game on that setting...  

I've been playing for about an 1 1/2 hours. and just been attacked by some "wrenchers" or at least that's what it sounds like the AI are calling it. not been able to get passed them yet, but still trying.  

i'm going to add you guys to my friends list now.

wretches ;) and insane difficulty isnt that bad, once you get a feel for the weapons and the cover system.

also just wondering, I've heard allot of the Red Ring of Death. doesn't that happen when your 360 overheats? I've been turning of the 360 and having a break about every 2 hours. i hope by doing that i'll be able to avoid the 360 overheating

if your xbox is a new model, either the 60gb premium version or the very late 20gb ones, then it shouldn't get the RROD, even if you play for hours on end.

it's over 2 years old, 20GB premium model. it's strange you didn't receive my invite. i typed the exact name that you're using here on LiveWire, and accepted it. ahh well, i'm going to be on the xbox in about 30 minutes.

did you type an L for the second letter? because it's an I.

um if it's 2 years old it could well get the RROD. it's still under warranty for a year on that front though, as long as the previous owner registered it i think. but if it does happen and you're happy trying a fix yourself there's plenty of tutorials on the internet.
otherwise i'm sure there's plenty of people willing to do it for a small price.

going to turn it on in about 15 mins, just need to walk my dog.
