Origin theories are speculation as is God. People created God to answer questions they could not (and in the case of Origin, can not) answer. Most people believe in God due to inculcation and some due to fear. If Jesus were so real, why are people in Iraq, India, China and other places so confused? We are here and that proves origin...nothing more.
why are u so confuzed? The dead sea scrolls proves Jesus
Interesting you suggest that, and this illustrates the ignorance rampant in Christian automatons. The Qumran scrolls consisted of Jewish Scripture, nothing from the NT, and were in fact a proof of Josephus' Essenes (a sect of Judaism that was similar to Christianity). There were no scrolls found there that mentioned Jesus. Jesus, from historical reference, is not to be found. This is why the evangelist we call John made 'belief' critical to salvation in Chapter 3. Most people of the end of the 1st century CE time period did not believe in this cult or its reported founder. There is a good case to be made that Jesus (as Paul reported him, the revealed Messiah) was created from oral traditions). Now as ancient scrolls and Christianity go, the Nag Hammadi scriptures told us the story of the Gnostic Christians who were wiped out by Constantine and the founders of the hegemony you now confuse with the truth. Your Christianity is a product of the 4th and not the 1st century. You would do best to actually study the history before you make silly statements like the one about the Dead Seas (Qumran) scrolls. BTW...great job on the quotes!

Screw prophacies and ancient texts
------- So why did I do it? I could offer a million answers, all false. The truth is that I'm a bad person, but that's going to change. I'm going to change.

can you cite the line? The Old Testament also predicts the coming of a messiah known as Elijiah in the end times.
No...he will not quote lines because Daniel, written during the Selecuid invasion and persecution before the Maccabean revolt, reflected an escalation in apocalyptic eschatology...not messiah predictions. He, like many who espouse 'beliefs,' is not a reader...he is a parrot.

God is wonderfulabsent (reference the sharp increase in autistic children since 1978), powerful impotent (reference the innocents that die in natural disasters), merciful vengeful (he sends people to eternal torture according to your rule book). And most of all, lovingself-absorbed (read the first four commandments) :)
I just wanted to help you out...
With your own one sided opinions. Very good.
Which is a very fair reply but when does this God of yours demonstrate his being wonderful, powerful, merciful or loving? This illusion is only a bet on a future after death. While life has moments of beauty...it always ends in death; every time. You and others may add as many descriptives to God as you like but when is God capable of earning any of those attributes? Give me one tangible example of God's love and I will offer ten proofs that he either does not exist or does not care.
How about even one "proof" that He does not exist? Not a 'logical' argument, but a proof. Death is the end result for all life. That goes for man, the rest of the animal kingdom and the plant kingdom as well.
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
