i feel like a failure, i had to quit my crappy job :-( |

im so depressed that no one, mainly my family dont understand the physical pain im in from working at packing houses. i just worked for 4 hours yesterday and i have something wrong with my feet, since i was little, i cant stand for longer than an hour or i feel excruitiating pain on my heels and i know many jobs where you have to stand, which sucks, i need some expensive things for me feet that cost 400$+ but i cant afford it. ive worked other jobs, and although the pain in my heels sucked, it wasnt as painful as working at a packing house where my whole body hurts, i came home dizzy with a migraine from just watching the fruit pass through the fast machines, my eyes hurt so bad which led to the migraine i couldnt get rif of for hours! i feel like i failure, like i let myself and my family down. people tell me "the first days are always hard" bullshit, ive worked at a packing house for months before, i'd even get fevers from the pain, it never got better, every day was worse, thats why i quit in the past too

I understand now. It just seems kinda silly at first to keep apllying for jobs you can't do, but given this economic climate there aren't many jobs to go around... and everyone has limitations. Are you able to get disability benefits?

I understand now its okay :-] i probably wasnt too clear. no i dont think i can get disability, doctors and society probably think im too young and healthy. its stupid, im thinkin about going to a feet doctor, and if what i have is a type of disability they can prove it. when i was a toddler i had to have especially made shoes for my feet cuz they were crooked :-/ they arent anymore, than God.
