The petrol version has 140hp 1.8 which is around the normal level for the basic engines from a compact, but the Deisel version which has a bit more power(150hp) is extremely torquey, about the same as the Commodore V6 so its much faster.

Yeh, I read the stats but some test-driver, not sure who said performace wise, not just on paper.
