I have and I hated it. I stayed there with a grandparent for upwards of a week and it was miserable the entire time I was there. I'm well aware that it is different in other areas, but I lost interest entirely after that stay.

the tampa bay area is no good. the east coast of FL is better.

where i grew up, there weren't a lot of old people, and the weather was beautiful 99% of the time. the atlantic seabreeze keeps things cool.
i really don't see what's not to like. besides mosquitoes, but you can avoid them easily enough.
