Urgh, Ive been up for like almost 41 hours. Every time I lay down, the bell goes off at work so I cant get any sleep.

Anyone got any tips or ways to get some energy? I could take a power nap or a nap in the chair.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

What do you do job wise that you have been up so long?

Whatever you do, do NOT overly rely on cafeine. You'll only feel the slump after it's effects wear off and trust me, it's worse than how you'll feel without it.

Firefighting. Shifts are 24 hours and I am on another 30 hour one at another station in the City to replace a sick guy. Could be longer if more calls.

Like Danny said, Don't use anything that is overly packed with caffeine because it will just have a negative side effect in the end, causing you to crash. I've never used them, nor am I sure that they work, but you can try 5 Hour Energy? You can also just try drinking a lot of water and staying hydrated. At this point, you are probably so tired you don't feel like you are sleepy, correct?

Any possible way you can try to shorten your picked up shift..?

Find it, use it, try it. It's only like 3 USD.

Well, just try to stay on top of things. When we are tired, we tend to forget certain aspects of duties we need to do. :/
