I've been trying to get a job all summer with no luck. A friend of mine told me to apply to her work (where her mom does the hiring) cause they needed people. She told me she would bug her mom.
I gave in a resume and immediately after she stopped talking about the job. I asked her if I could still work there in an email and she never replied. She hasn't mentioned it since.
I'm confused. Why would she say all that then suddenly stop?
