Flea is one of the best bassist going, he is brilliant.

John frusciante is one of the most overrated and worst guitarists I have heard. His guitar solos are repeating the same thing over again, not creativity etc.

i love hyperbole as much as the next man but come on this is ridiculous, you can't even believe it yourself.

i'd like to stick up for frusciante though, he's excellent, and just because he doesn't play shredding solos doesn't mean he's shit.

That's because you haven't tried them properly.

You were too young to try them properly when they were big, to understand the context of their music. Thematically, Primus has many many similarities to RHCP's early work. Except, Primus were much, much better musicians.
