why is it that everytime there's something wrong with me i always try to hide the fact from everyone and just pretend im perfectly fine? i hate this.

Unfortunately I'm the same way. For me personally, its that I dont want to burden anybody else with my problems. I mean after all, they're MY problems. I know it's not necessarily healthy thinking but it's just the way I think. And I would have to advise against jumping off any bridges ;)
