So my computer died, I know its the hard dive and I was wondering if I replaced the hard drive and I put in the disk toshiba sent me that's supposed to repair windows (not the restore disk) would it put it onto ht hard drive? I Ned a computer and don't have money to buy one or repair this one with toshiba for $400

You will need something that is capable of installing a version of Windows, most likely a restore disc (or regular Win install disc).
You might be able to image your system over if there is a little bit of life left on the HDD.

Just Go to Your local computer store, tell them the make of the computer, tell them your buget, most companys are nice about it and will tell you a good about it, the disk will work if you tell them the make of the computer.
