Moved to correct section.

Assuming your talking about battery, it will last till your battery drains. Could be a little like a hour up to 16 depending on the model.

To turn your wireless card off, (It drains battery ad eats bandwidth), normally a button on the laptop keyboard turns it off, or you can do so in network properties.
