AVG has the lowest score among lowest for Virus Scanning. PCMag OZ did a test and it failed to find 23 out of 50 objects.

So before you make a reply, saying it picks up everything, it doesn't and thats a well sourced fact.

Any Computer guy who knows anything will tell you the same, don't rely on your computer's security in a Free Program such as 'AVG'.

If your too lazy to buy one, Use "Comodo." as its Company Trusted and even Department of Defence Trusted, it has a fool proof reputation.

AVG Free would NEVER win to McAfree or Norton. You gotta be bloody high on Crack to think that. Its a well sourced fact. I can link you.

AVG Paid isn't too bad, but its still not better then McAfree or Norton. McAfree wins over Norton. Avast and NOD is better.

We all have our own opinions on which virus scanner is the best. I remember I used to like the Norton AntiVirus and Internet Security combo. But I eventually found avast! and another firewall program to take Norton's place. I noticed a huge speedup in my computer's performance.

My dad hates Norton. He clings to McAfee too much because he just assumes if you pay for it, it's obviously gonna be better, right? Not always. I secretly uninstalled it without his permission, and installed avast! in its place, and he completely freaked cause all he really used it for was SiteAdvisor, which you can just get for free off their website.

I personally found AVG a little hard to use. I didn't know how to turn off the daily scan. I would find the option in the preferences to turn it off, but it still continued to scan daily on startup. But that's just my personal taste.

That's because most computers are PC. Apple has a very small market share. People don't bother making viruses for Mac because it wouldn't produce much of a return. It's more of an insult than a claim to glory.
