I feel that it would become abused and people would upload so many videos of useless things. Youtube works fine, why change what isn't broken? :/

No, upload it to YouTube, there's too much copyright problems, as well as server space issues with doing it on LW.

Regardless if it doesn't have to do with Youtube, you can still upload it there. There are plenty of other video servers which you can use. Like MMM said, it would cause server space issues.

I'm not too crazy about the idea.  The server would be killed and there are plenty of video upload sites out there.
