I don't know because that's how things started with my boyfriend and I as well. We'd known each other for over a year and he said he's always liked me (he flirted with me a lot so I know he's not making it up) so it wasn't instantaneous with him. And I know it wasn't with me because I started having feelings for him too, it just took a while to get together. We told each other that we loved one another (or at least he did, that much I remember) before we started dating and we've been together almost 2 years now.

I suppose I think it's possible if you've known each other a long time. Feelings can develop and stay hidden for years or even a lifetime. If it's random and literally everything happens in 3 days, I'd be less inclined to believe it's actually true.

My situation is the same as yours... I know that he liked me all this time, I just didn't realize how much...

I liked him, but was way too afraid to be in a relationship with anyone.. so I just ignored my feelings, and made up reasons to turn him down, I think.
